Aesthetics of Interaction
Aesthetics of Interaction was one of the first courses for me in the second year. Compared to other courses it was the most traditional feeling design course I've had thus yet. A lot of designer perception and sensitivity is what this course taught to me. Interaction and attention to detail were crucial, and it was also a good opportunity for me to develop my prototyping skills as the course had weekly sessions showcasing for showcasing new iterations of prototypes of the wake-up experience. Whilst I struggled a lot with co-operation and having a good role within the team and being able to ideate and create together, the final prototype and individual pictorial represented the quality and detail I am willing and able to deliver in my work very well. I also practiced taking high quality photographs and putting them in a pictorial format. This ended up being essential for me moving on from this course.
