Project-2

Project-2 / CBL-2 is a currently ongoing project course in semester 2 of year 1. For this project we are challenged with making a companion that includes at least 2 sensors and 2 actuators. The companion needs to have integrated memory and the ability to interact with a user and explore its surroundings. The project has a Creative Electronics, Creative Mechanical Engineering, and Design Process part to it.

Our concept is a robotic flower which activates and follows your movement if you give it your keys, thus making you remember where your keys are in a fun and interactive way. The flower blooms and lights up if it is approached. Currently we have a worked out roadmap and a working blooming mechanism which we want to integrate into the project as a whole. We have made it through midterm demo-day with a lot of positive feedback. During this project I also started taking my big camera with me, which is reflected in the quality of pictures I take now.
