Human Centered Design
Human Centered Design was a course in Q1 which has been a combination of presenting and class lectures. Every week a preparation was done before the lecture, and a presentation was made before the presenting day on Thursday. The main objectives of this course were as follows:
- Understand a human-centered design process and its applicability to produce design solutions for products, services and connected systems.
- Know about key design concepts like usability and user experience.
- Familiarity with methods for human-centered design for all design process stages (requirement phase, design phase, prototyping phase and evaluation phase).
- Understand the basic principles of human-computer interaction (humans, interactive systems, cscw, design rationale etc.) and how to approach such a process from an ethical perspective.
- Expertise Areas mainly include: User & Society
