Data Analytics was a course in Q2 of year 1. It was primarily divided into two separate chunks. The theoretical part focused on pure Data Analytics and Statistics knowledge, whilst the practical part focused on gaining a good grasp of coding in python for the purpose of data processing and visualization. The practical part was also divided over two coding projects; Graded Assignment 1 and Graded Assignment 2. These assignments have also been presented in posters which can be seen below. Key take-aways were:

• Understanding code instead of exactly being able to code everything by hand has proved to be a more useful skill than I thought. Being able to code very basic things but be able to explain very hard to code things should be aimed for instead of being able to do everything by hand.
• Data Analytics as a whole proved to be very insightful and useful even within the realm of Industrial Design. Having a grasp on hard data and being able to transform it into something useful will definitely have an impact on the way I design and transform my own ideas into reality.
• Expertise Areas mainly include: Math, Data & Computing
